Nate Diaz vs Dustin Poirier Fight Receives A Bleak Update

Many fans also wonder what will become of Nate Diaz in the UFC as he only has one more match left in his contract. It was then said that he is likely to sign a new contract with the UFC.

However, Diaz himself requested his release from the UFC recently after getting frustrated with the company. He even blasted fighters for complaining about the UFC cutting them.

While speaking during the UFC 273 post-fight press conference, Dana White was asked about the potential fight between Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier. Dana White gave a bleak update on the possible fight. He also revealed the UFC is looking for another opponent for Poirier instead of Diaz.

“We met with Nate last week. I don’t know where we ended up with it, I just bopped in and said ‘Hi.’ I don’t know. Yeah, we’ll figure it out.
