A short while ago, It was reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez had spent $55 million on a sprawling Los Angeles mansion for themselves and their families. They were set to move on the property together, but that doesn’t seem to be happening now.

The deal reportedly didn’t work out. Sources close to the seller told TMZ that the deal fell out of escrow. As of right now, it is unknown what triggered the collapse; however, during an inspection period buyer always has an option to pull out of the deal. It is pretty clear the power couple felt something was off about the luxury mansion.

Regardless, the newly-engaged couple is back on the search for homes over the weekend. The two recently checked out estates in Beverly Hills and Bel-Air — valued at $64 million and $72 million.

Recently, JLo and Ben Affleck made their engagement public. The couple has been spotted together several times together in last few days, displaying that their love is stronger than ever.

This is the couple’s second engagement. The two started dating in 2002, but their relationship took a different turn. Lopez and Affleck called it quit in 2004. They were engaged and supposed to be married back then but called off their wedding just a few days prior to the ceremony. Lots has happened since then, and the two are back together and look forward to the new chapter of their lives.
