A man opened fire inside a New York City subway train during this morning’s rush hour. Authorities responded to the scene where they discovered a chaotic scene. Smoke filled the hallways of the 36th Street & 4th Avenue stations as a sea of humanity attempted to flee the train where the incident occurred.

The video reveals that the shooting took place inside the train car. The train was moving at the time. As it came to a stop at the 36th & 4th platform, transit patrons screamed and fled for their lives as smoke billowed out into the station.

Some people appeared to have suffered injuries on the train. Several can be seen limping off the car as others who were unharmed escaped to street level. The shooter has still not been apprehended.

FDNY also reported that there were several unexploded devices found at the scene. Other details on the shooting are sketchy at best. NYPD has teamed with FDNY, ATF, and Homeland Security to investigate and attempt to hunt down the attacker.

The suspect is believed to be a male who stands 5’5″ tall. Witnesses noted he was wearing a gas mask and a construction vest during the shooting. Police have advised all residents to stay clear of the area at this time.

The horrific scenes from the shooting have depicted several bloodied people being assisted by police personnel. Authorities are organizing a manhunt to make sure nobody else is harmed. Stay tuned to Thirsty for the latest on this developing story.
