Cuba Gooding Jr. has been surrounded by accusations and lawsuits pertaining sexual harassment by several different women. Almost three years after his arrest Gooding Jr. has pleaded guilty to one count.
According to Associated Press, Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of forcible touching in a criminal case that accused him of violating three different women at Manhattan nightclubs in 2018 and 2019.
Gooding was arrested in 2019 following an incident at a Manhattan club, he was soon released, and the trial was delayed multiple times. He was accused of groping the breasts of a 29-year-old woman. After that incident, two more women came forward with accusations of inappropriate touching.
It didn’t end there for Gooding; in August 2020, Gooding was also accused in a lawsuit of raping a woman in 2013. She alleged that Gooding raped her in a New York City hotel room; he has denied those accusations.
So far, a total of 20 women have come forward accusing Gooding of groping or forcibly kissing them in different incidents as far as two decades, according to The New York Times.
