Jennifer Garner Says JLo Is A Positive Influence On Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez surprised the entertainment world when they announced their engagement. JLo flaunted her massive engagement ring on her Twitter announcement. Recently, Ben’s ex-Jennifer Garner shared her thoughts on his relationship with Lopez.

A source shared with E! News, Garner is ‘happy for’ her ex-husband Ben Affleck amid his second engagement to Jennifer Lopez. The insider further said, Garner ‘knows that J-Lo has been a positive influence in certain ways.’

Ben shares three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10 with his ex-wife. Apparently, he warned them all of his impending proposal beforehand. The source said,  ‘Ben told Jen and the kids, so they knew about it,’

A second insider described the engagement as “a very intimate moment, just them two.” The source added, “The proposal was low-key but very meaningful,” The source also said, “Ben wanted the ring to be sentimental and put a lot of thought into it.”

The second engagement for power couple comes almost two decades after the pair were first engaged in 2002, with the two splitting in 2004. After the breakup, the former couple remained friends, with Ben marrying Garner, while J. Lo went on to have twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
