Kim and Khloe Kardashian visited Disneyland with their kids earlier this week. The reality stars enjoyed a beautiful California day in the happiest place on earth. The family also never had to wait in line.
Many Disneyland patrons were upset by the fact that Kim, Khloe, and the kids were allowed to skip the line and take private rides all day. TMZ reports that Kim Kardashian and her sister paid at least $3,000 for VIP access at the park. Visitors shared their frustration in the form of videos of the Kardashians riding rides with just themselves and plenty of empty seats.
The Kardashians did not ask Disney, staff, to shut down the rides to other visitors. Disneyland staff did that on their own. It was likely to keep from a mob scene as throngs of fans would have wanted to ride with the famous socialites.
The Disneyland trip also marked True’s first visit to the park. This was revealed after online sleuths determined that previous pictures of Khloe’s daughter at the park were photoshopped. Khloe ultimately admitted to the gaffe.
While many park visitors were ticked off about the special treatment, they all had the option. $3,000 is more than most average people can or are willing to spend to skip the lines. The average family also doesn’t attract huge crowds of onlookers wherever they go.
It might be unfair that other families had to wait to ride, but the Kardashians did not request that. It seems they were willing to share the teacups with other patrons. Disneyland staff just didn’t want to deal with the headache.
