Cardi B Told Offset They Had To Get Married Before Having A Baby

Cardi B and Offset recently revealed the first photo of their baby boy, Wave Set Cephus. The couple had been quiet about the new arrival, but finally decided it was time to reveal him to the world. Cardi followed up by giving him his first expensive piece of jewelry. Before Cardi got pregnant, she laid down one important condition.

Cardi B told Offset she wasn’t having a baby with him unless they were married. Offset didn’t even hesitate and agreed on the spot during a romantic interlude where the subject came up. Shortly after they were wed, Cardi gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named Kulture Kiari Cephus.

Cardi talked about the ultimatum in an interview with Essence. It didn’t take long for the excited dad-to-be to tie the knot with his love. Since then, they have started a beautiful family together.

“We were making out and he was like, ‘You’re going to have my baby one day and I was like, ‘We ain’t having no baby. You have to marry me,’ and he was like, ‘Alright, let’s get married.'”

Cardi B has also built a relationship with Offset’s other children. She didn’t want the others to feel left out. Things have been going swimmingly, and they all function as one family unit.

The family Cardi B built with offset was called a blessing by the rapper. The two seem to have nothing but love in their relationship. Time will tell if a third child will come. For now, they are feeling the love from their latest arrival.
