Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed their baby boy, Wolf, into the world in late February. A month later, the couple decided that the name just didn’t fit their baby. Recently, Kim Kardashian gave fans an update on little sister Kylie’s journey to name her baby.
On Friday, the 41-year-old reality star spoke about Kylie and Travis Scott’s months-old son while on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Kim said of Kylie Cosmetics founder, “There’s one name lingering but she really wants to make sure.”
Kardashian further explained that, “It’s a really big decision. It’s the hardest thing ever in life is to name a child.” She added that she waited until each of her four children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 were born to settle on a name for them. Kim said, “I personally – when I had my kids, I didn’t name them until they were born. You really want to see what they look like.”
The SKIMS founder admitted she didn’t always understand why people wait to choose a name. She noted that, “I always – when I would hear people do that, I would say, “How do you not be prepared for that? You have nine months to think about this.”‘ She asserted that ‘it’s just the hardest decision ever.”
‘There’s ten days after the baby’s born that you have to name your child and I feel like they just felt rushed.’
Meanwhile, Kylie admitted to USA Today that she knew the moment she signed her son’s birth certificate that she was likely going to give him a different name. She announced the news on Instagram when she wrote in a post, “FYI our [son’s] name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
