As Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against former wife Amber Heard continues, it has been consistently the subject of headlines. The multi-million lawsuit doesn’t appear to be working in Amber’s favor at the moment.
According to Page Six, Amber Heard’s close friend, Eve Barlow, was thrown out of the ongoing trial. It was noted Barlow got in trouble with the judge because of tweeting and texting in the front row of the courtroom. This is certainly bad etiquette.
The source, who attended the trial, told the outlet that Barlow posed as Heard’s legal team. This explains why she sat in the front row of the courtroom, which is reserved for legal counsel. This has only further damaged Amber’s case.
Barlow, who is Heard’s incredibly close friend, repeatedly intervened in the trial; all while pretending she was part of Heard’s legal team. Naturally, Depp’s lawyers filed a motion to have Barlow permanently removed from the courtroom, and the judge approved it.
Depp has denied all the allegations his ex-wife has made, which is why the defamation case against her. Heard ended up countersuing him for $100 million. The entire industry awaits the conclusion of the ongoing case. We will have to wait and see what becomes of it.
