Things got a little weird for Isaiah Rashad after the alleged gay sex tape leak that happened back in February 2021. During his Coachella debut, the TDE artist addressed the leaked tape.
Isaiah had tears in his eyes while he was performing “Wat’s Wrong” as he talked about what the experience was like for him. To prove his points, he also showed a video montage of other celebrities’ reactions to the viral tape.
“The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him. However, that backfired. When his video leaked, his dreams and everything went up,” said one voice in the clip.
Rashad thanked those who were there for him when he was struggling. He said, “I see all the messages and all the positivity. Y’all kept me alive these last couple months.”
Rashad also asked Doechii, his label’s new signee, to join him on stage to perform “Wat U Sed” which appeared in 2021’s The House Is Burning.
Although Isaiah has been through a hard time, after his Coachella debut, Isaiah now has a bigger fanbase and now that the has put the leaked tape behind him and embraced his sexuality, the artist is on his way to achieving greater things in life.
