Ronda Rousey is arguably the biggest name to make her way from the world of combat sports to professional wrestling. She didn’t take long to get adjusted to WWE’s way of doing things after debuting at the 2018 Royal Rumble. She also feels more nervous about promos even now.
One of the major turning points in Ronda’s WWE career was during the 2018 Survivor Series, where she squared off against Charlotte Flair. Fans turned on Rousey, which legitimately distressed Rousey.
Since then, Rousey has never been able to properly deal with fan reactions. In fact, even her promo skills have not improved all that much. While speaking on her vlog series Ronda on the Road, Ronda Rousey admitted that she feels she is more nervous about cutting promos than competing in matches.
“I get more nervous for promos than matches because I have to nail it on the first go. I’ve always been a person that communicates better physically than verbally, but I think I got it. They let me say what I want to say, then I got it.”
Even Vince McMahon had to improve Ronda Rousey’s promo game in a huge way. We will have to wait and see whether Rousey will ever properly improve her promo skills or not.
