Cristiano Ronaldo and his wife, Georgina Rodriguez, took to Instagram recently to announce the tragic passing of their newborn son. This death occurred soon after he was welcomed into the world. His wife gave birth to twins, but one of them did not survive. It’s natural that CR7 will miss the upcoming huge game in wake of his newborn’s death.
Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in Manchester United’s match against Liverpool on Tuesday because he is mourning the untimely death of his newborn baby, according to his soccer club. The game between Manchester United and Liverpool will begin at 12 PM at Anfield. Man U released a statement regarding Cristiano’s game miss.
Family is more important than everything and Ronaldo is supporting his loved ones at this immensely difficult time.
In a statement, the couple said “it is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.” The arrival of their daughter gave them the strength to live that moment with some optimism and happiness. Ronaldo and Rodriguez announced they were expecting twin boys and twin girls back in December.
Since the announcement, fans, teammates, celebrities, and others have shown their support for the soccer player and Rodriguez. It’s unclear when Ronaldo will return to the field next but it’s evident that his teammates will give him as much time as he requires. Check out the post below.
