Lil Wayne is getting rid of his pending legal troubles. In the past, he might have gotten help with it from the former US President, but this time, he has decided to conclude a lawsuit by himself quickly.
Wayne just settled a lawsuit filed against him by a security guard over an alleged assault. In his now settled suit, the Los Angeles club bouncer claimed that the rapper attacked him because he was “white.”
The Blast acquired legal documents pertaining the agreement between the two parties, which state that a confidential settlement was reached between them. The documents did not specify the amount they agreed on, but it must have been pretty good.
The legal docs stated, “The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement.”
The lawsuit was filed back in 2016 by Andrew Nunemacher in California. The bouncer also claimed that Wayne yelled “F–k you, white boy!” at him after knocking him to the ground with a punch. That being said, the case has now been settled, and Wayne has one less weight off his shoulder.
