Drake is one of the hottest pop acts in the industry. The Canadian artists has given many hits over the years. He recently sparked rumors of collaborating with another big figure from the industry. Despite Drizzy’s social media post fueling suspicions of a possible collaboration in the works, Drake and Taylor Swift are not about to release new music together.
Drizzy surprised fans when he posted a never-before-seen photo with Taylor Swift. Along with other images in a carousel, the 35-year-old entertainer shared one hugging the songstress from behind as she held onto his arm. However, it seems it’s just a throwback photo.
TMZ has learned from sources with firsthand knowledge. Unfortunately, there is no upcoming Drake-Taylor collaboration, and Champagne Papi’s Instagram picture from Monday is just a throwback photo with no hidden meaning. The photo is apparently from 2017 or 2018.
Our sources say there’s nothing behind the pic other than memories … and the photo with T-Swift is from a few years ago, sometime in 2017 or 2018.
As previously reported, the OVO rapper shared a photo of himself with his arm around Taylor on Instagram. “They too soft to comprehend the meaning of hard work,” Drake captioned the photo. Drake and Taylor have a long friendship, and the photo and caption prompted many to believe Drizzy was teasing new music, but we’re assured it was just a lighthearted reminiscence.
