The life of a rapper has its ups and downs, as it is never smooth sailing for anyone in the world of hip-hop. While there is certainly a lot of money and fame that comes with being a rapper, there is also the risk of death at every corner. That is what happened to Archie Eversole.
As previously reported, Atlanta rap legend Arthur Eversole, better known as Archie Eversole, was shot dead on March 25 on Golf Vista Circle. His brother was suspected of the murder, but his mother has claimed that he had nothing to do with it.
According to TMZ, police have stated that Archie Eversole was shot in the jaw while he was asleep shortly before he died from his wounds. As revealed by the police report, someone had kicked open his bedroom door and he was awakened by a gunshot to his face on March 25th.
However, Archie was not able to see who shot him. Officers asked if the shooter was in the home, which Eversole confirmed. Eversole was then fading in and out of consciousness.
Officers discovered fresh blood covering the front door and a trail of blood from the stairs to Eversole’s room where the blood-spattered door had been busted through. The rapper’s brother, Alexander Krause, first told officers that he was fine and just checking on his brother.
Police noticed he had blood on his socks as well, and he claimed that he was limping from a blister on his foot. Krause is currently in custody in DeKalb County after being arrested for murder. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story right here at Thirsty.
