Cristiano Ronaldo & Georgina Rodríguez Back Home With Baby Girl After Baby Son’s Passing

Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez, are now back home with their newborn baby girl after the tragic death of their twin son. The couple expressed their thanks to everyone who has shown support and sympathy for their family.

“Home sweet home. Gio and our baby girl are finally together with us,” Cristiano posted on his Instagram on Thursday. Earlier this week he had shared that their twin son had passed away at childbirth.

“We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures,” Cristiano added to his post on Thursday. “Your support is very important and we all felt the love and respect that you have for our family. “Now it’s time to be grateful for the life that we’ve just welcomed into this world. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻”

The couple had previously stated that no pain can be worse than the loss of a child and it is only the birth of their daughter that has kept them going. “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”

Fans from all over the world showed support to the family. On Tuesday, fans at the Manchester United vs. Liverpool game paid a minute-long tribute to CR7 and his family.
