Joel Embiid Tells Drake He’s Coming For A Sweep After Sixers Down Raptors

Joel Embiid has his sights set on an early first-round playoff exit for the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors are the hometown team of NBA fanatic Drake. After Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers took a 3-0 series lead against Toronto, Joel found Drake in the crowd and had some choice words.

Embiid dropped another monster game on the Raptors on Wednesday night. Joel tallied 33 points and 13 rebounds for yet another double-double. Then he dropped some trash talk on Drizzy. Joel Embiid said he was coming for the sweep.

“That’s what you call a f*ckin superstar! Get your ass on, I’m coming for the sweep too!”

Drake is a fixture at Toronto Raptors home games. The rapper is a megafan and serves as an international ambassador for the franchise. He was hoping to see his squad make a run at another NBA championship.

Joel Embiid and the Sixers are having no part in that. The series could come to an abrupt end as soon as the next game in Toronto. Embiid wanted to make sure Drake knows he intends to do just that.

Hopefully, Drake isn’t betting with his heart. The notorious gambler often uses his partnership with a Canadian cryptocurrency gambling market to place ludicrous bets. If he’s going with the Raptors, he might not be doing so well.
