Tamara Lynn Sytch, better known by her ring name Sunny, rose to prominence in the World Wrestling Federation during the 1990s and is often regarded as the first WWF Diva. She was recently involved in a wrongful death situation revolving around a car wreck, and it appears that we now have an update and it entails some waiting.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the charges imposed on Tammy and her pending drug test results. Tammy is being sued for wrongful death by the family of the man who lost his life in that wreck. Meltzer stated that her alcohol and drug tests will take a lot of time to come back and she won’t be arrested until then. That being said, police are waiting until that evidence comes in.
It’s actually something of a landmark case if and when it goes to court. But anyway that is the basic deal for circuit court. You have to ask for $30K minimum. And then as far as Tammy not being arrested, most likely the reason is just because law enforcement officials are going to wait until her test come back and then if the test come back and they’re also looking for more evidence on the speed the car was going. [The tests] can take a while depending on the situation so it’s not just alcohol but drug test and drug tests can take a while. So, until that comes back, they probably will not arrest her. But that doesn’t mean because they haven’t arrested her, that they are not looking at arresting her.
As previously reported, Sytch was involved in a fatal three-car crash. The driver of the vehicle hit by Sytch, identified as Julian Lafrancis Lasseter Jr. of Daytona Beach Shores, was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Meltzer previously noted that Tammy Lynn Sytch was still driving without a license even though the toxicology report was clean. She should be in prison if she is charged with homicide while driving without a license. Keep an eye out for additional information on this developing story right here at Thirsty.
