Pooh Shiesty’s time in prison was recently sentenced as five years, but it’s far better than the eight years prosecutors wanted. It looks like he is in good spirits despite his situation. He has now thanked everyone for their support and also announced new music is on the way.
Pooh was arrested after pleading guilty to a count of conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes.
Shiesty’s music career was just building up when things took a u-turn for him. His time behind bars will definitely affect his music career but he has assured fans that he will be coming up with new music.
An email from Pooh Shiesty has been circulated and it reads, “THE BIGGEST.. I JUST WANNA THANK ALL MY LOVE ONES, SUPPORTERS, AND FANS FOR HOLDING ME DOWN DURING THESE HARD TIMES,” the rapper reportedly wrote. “I WISH I COULD BE COMINGG HOME TO YALL TODAY BUT THIS COULDVE BEEN WAYYYY WORSE , I WILL BE BACK SOONER THAN YALL THINK ! BUT MEANTIME NEW MUSIC DROPPING NEXT WEEK , BLRRRD!!!”
The Rap industry has definitely evolved with time. More artists have been facing legal issues or time in jail and still have been able to produce music from behind bars, making sure their careers are still safe.
We have been many artists develop and top chars while in jail, so it is quite obvious that Pooh Shiesty will continue to produce music.
