Tom Holland Helped Zendaya Get Through Filming Tough ‘Euphoria’ Scenes

Zendaya found success at every step of her career as a result of her talent and dedication. She has won a Primetime Emmy, a Satellite Award, and a Saturn Award, among others. Zendaya is a quadruple punch as an actress, singer, dancer, and a cosmetics artist. She also has a leading man by her side to help her out.

The Euphoria actress didn’t win at the 2022 Oscars, but the she still drew attention. The actress will take a break from the role because the show’s third season isn’t anticipated to air until later this year. It seems Tom Holland had Zendaya’s back during her tough Euphoria scenes.

Zendaya hit the red carpet at Euphoria’s For Your Consideration event recently and spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her boyfriend Holland. She discussed how he is assisting her in freeing her up from her position on the HBO drama.

Zendaya plays Rue, a high school junkie who is trying to stay sober while juggling romances and friendships in the series. Zendaya told ET when asked about how Holland “pulls her out of the dark moments as Rue.”

I think it’s great to have that support and love around you, because you need that. This isn’t an easy job, so it’s good to have that to free you up from it every now and then.

Euphoria includes some really hard to watch scenes. Obviously, that intensity can be a bit overwhelming at times.

Zendaya and Holland originally were romantically linked in 2017, and they reignited romance speculations in July 2021 when they were pictured having a sensual kiss. Since then, they’ve kept their romance primarily hidden from the public eye, though they were all smiles and held each other close at various events promoting Spider-Man in December 2021.
