Jessica Simpson has been receiving a lot of coverage lately over her dramatic change in appearance. The singer has lost a great deal of weight, but she is remaining body-positive. It sounds like Simpson’s wallet is also shedding some extra pounds.
Simpson appeared on “The Real” recently where she explained that she has been cash-strapped lately. Jessica is trying to get her clothing line for men and boys off the ground. The investments she has made have left her with very little in the bank.
Jessica revealed that she recently had her credit card declined at Taco Bell. Jess currently doesn’t have any credit due to the money she’d been throwing into entrepreneurship. She has been budgeting just like the rest of us lately.
“I am draining my bank account. I have no working credit card. It’s OK. I will pay in cash. I went to Taco Bell the other day and my card got denied. I’m on a budget, ladies!”
Jessica Simpson said a temporary lack of funds won’t stop her. She is committed to getting the business venture off the ground. Adversity and embarrassment will only make her try harder.
Jessica went into the fashion business back in 2005 with her mother. They sold the whole thing for $65 million to an investment group. Simpson was able to regain the company after they declared bankruptcy. Now, she is trying to take it to new heights. She might want to lay off the fast food if she’s putting all of her resources into the new venture.
