R&B icon and diva Keyshia Cole made the decision to retire from her iconic career of making music last year. It seems she isn’t done yet. She recently set the stage on fire with NFL star Antonio Brown. According to Keyshia Cole, Antonio Brown is a real-deal rapper.
Cole told TMZ Sports that the NFL star is so excellent on the mic that he could win a Grammy. Of course, the award-winning R&B singer is well aware of Brown’s potential, having collaborated with him on his new “Paradigm” album, which was released earlier this week.
She also performed her song on stage with Brown at Gunna’s new weed strain debut in downtown Los Angeles recently. When she was questioned after their show if Antonio Brown has what it takes to make it big in the music industry, she answered definitely.
I think he’s really talented, for sure. I love the body of work that he created. I think he’s gonna be great. I do. I wouldn’t have collaborated if I didn’t think he’d be great. Of course! Whatever you do, you put your mind to it, you can do whatever you choose to do in life.
Several athletes, including Muhammad Ali, Magic Johnson, and Oscar De La Hoya, have previously been nominated for Grammys. Despite Cole’s belief that Brown may have a successful music career, she does not believe the free agent should abandon his NFL career. In terms of future collaborations between Cole and AB, she is obviously leaving the studio door open. Check out the video.
