Sean Penn’s Divorce From Actress Leila George Finalized After A Year Of Marriage

Sean Penn is now officially single after his divorce from actress Leila George was finalized. This marks an end to their marriage that lasted over a year.

George, actor Vincent D’Onofrio’s daughter, seems to be the one to end the marriage. Now their union is legally over and the two can move on.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge signed off on finalizing the divorce on Friday, indicating that things are now settled. The Australian actress filed for divorce in Los Angeles back in October 2021, the couple tied the knot in July 2020 during the peak of the pandemic.

Now it seems that it is a good thing that the couple didn’t spend a lot of money on their wedding, as they had a low-key ceremony with their families at their home. They do not have any kids together and it’s not clear why the couple has decided to call it quits.

This isn’t Sean’s first divorce either. He was previously married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989, which was before marrying actress Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010. Now he is back to being single again, but it’s unclear how much Sean is ready to mingle just yet.
