Chris Rock’s Mother Blasts Will Smith For Oscar Slap

Ever since Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars, it has sparked heated debates. Will Smith has apologized but he continues to be backlashed and now it looks like Chris Rock’s mother has joined the clan.

Chris Rock has not yet officially issued a statement about the whole situation. There is a statement going around that is actually not from Chris but his team. “As a comedian, it can be difficult to understand.”

However, a very close family member of Chris, his very own mother has shared her thoughts about the whole situation. Rose Rock, spoke about the incident during an interview with South Carolina’s WISNEWS10 and revealed that the incident not only affected Chris but her as well.

“When Will slapped Chris, he slapped all of us, but he really slapped me.” she started. “So many things could have happened. Chris could have stepped back and fallen. You really could have gotten taken out in handcuffs.” 

Rose’s opinions are not any different from the opinions of celebrities like Judd Apatow and Jim Carrey who also shared their overall feedback.
