Amber Heard Rolls Her Eyes At ‘Borderline Personality Disorder’ Diagnosis During Johnny Depp Trial

Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50 million, claiming she lied when accusing him of physical abuse. Amber is suing for $100 million in defamation, claiming he orchestrated a smear campaign against her. Amber Heard recently struggled to pay attention as one of Johnny Depp’s witnesses testified in court that the actress had “borderline personality disorder.”

Dr. Shannon Curry, a forensic psychologist, was called to the stand by Depp’s attorney on Tuesday. Curry is a couple’s therapist with extensive experience in the fields of PTSD and anxiety. The Hollywood actor who is using her as an expert witness brought her into the case.

Curry was hired to go over case documents, such as medical records and psychological treatment notes from Heard’s sessions. She was also shown audio and video recordings of the couple’s volatile relationship, which often showed them verbally berate each other.

Curry met with Heard twice in December as part of this lawsuit. The first session lasted seven hours, followed by an eight-hour session. She was never asked to examine Depp.

Curry stated following their meeting that she diagnosed the Aquaman actress with borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder. Heard was seen rolling her eyes while talking to her lawyers at their table as Curry testified. She clearly did not like the doctor or the testimony she was giving in court.

Curry determined that Heard externalises blame and is self-righteous and judgmental. She mentioned that the star has “anger” but can also appear “socially sophisticated.” Curry also informed the jury Heard did not exhibit PTSD symptoms, and there was evidence that the star was exaggerating symptoms.

The claim is intriguing given that Heard has accused Depp of physical abuse on multiple occasions during their relationship. According to the doctor, people with borderline personality disorder have a “desperate fear of abandonment,” which can cause them to act out. Depp is confident that the doctor’s testimony will support his claims. During fights, Heard frequently prevented him from fleeing.

Heard, according to the actor, was the one who attacked him, not the other way around. His lawsuit seeks $50 million in damages on the grounds that she fabricated abuse allegations. Depp testified in court that he never abused Heard or any other woman. He stated that the purpose of his lawsuit was to uncover the truth and clear his name. Heard stands by her story and has filed a counter-suit against her ex-husband for $100 million.
