AEW continues to grow as a pro wrestling company and has been successful in that regard over the last three years. The company also decided to dive deep into the video game industry as the company previously announced a video game for consoles is in the works.
Kenny Omega has been working hard along with video game developer Yuke’s to ensure the upcoming AEW game for consoles will be in the best state possible when it releases.
As previously reported, the AEW video game will be releasing sooner than expected. While speaking with a retro gaming YouTube channel, Put Your Quarters On The Glass!, Kenny Omega talked about the upcoming video game. He teased an in-depth look at the video game.
“I mean we’re working real hard on trying to get something that is presentable, trying to get something that is gonna be complete, ASAP and hopefully that means this year. Hopefully we’re also gonna have more materials to show everyone real soon and I know that there should be something actually really soon being released. I’m not sure when this will release but you may have already seen it by now and that’s just a little you know, taste for things to come but there should be something more expansive, something a little more of an in-depth look, I would say in the upcoming months, for sure just keep everyone up to speed let everyone know where we’re at.”
The game will be called AEW: Fight Forever and it remains to be seen whether it will become a hit with fans and critics alike or not.
