The disgraced movie producer and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein targeted a lot of young women whom he worked with. Sienna Miller, who worked closely with him back then, opened up about what protected her from the infamous producer.
Miller worked closely with Weinstein for the 2006 Drama “Factory Girl,” and at the time she was dating Jude Law. Miller told The Guardian that her relationship with Law helped her shape her bond with Weinstein.
Miller believes that her referring to Weinstein as “pops’ and looking at him as a father figure made her immune from the potential sexual harassment.
“I was Jude’s girlfriend, and there was probably protection in that. Jude was a big actor for Harvey,” Miller said. “I called Harvey ‘Pops’ from day one, which I’m sure helped; you’re not going to wank on that.”
Jude Law worked in several of Weinstein’s movies before Miller and has had a good relationship with him. According to Miller, this was very instrumental for her good connection with the disgraced film producer.
Weinstein is presently serving a 23-year prison sentence due to first-degree criminal sexual acts and third-degree rape. He is not really in good health in confinement according to the reports and probably won’t live long enough to complete his sentence.
