Diddy has been active in the industry for almost three decades. The real-life Sean Combs launched his own record label, Bad Boy Records, during the early nineties. Diddy collaborated with Notorious B.I.G on many tracks. He doesn’t rap very often, but Puff Daddy just dropped a new song out of nowhere.
Diddy recently premiered an unreleased track during a new advertisement of Beats by Dre. The ad features NFL prospect Kayvon Thibodeaux, with voiceover by the player’s mother. The video shows off Beats Fit Pro wireless earbuds.
“Kayvon Thibodeaux — the football player — he didn’t just arrive from nowhere. We put a lot of prayer into that boy, especially since he was a kid. I think God blesses people to be a blessing to others. He wants to make sure that he’s able to give back.”
Thibodeaux played college football as a defensive end for the Oregon Ducks. He is expected to be a top pick at the NFL Draft, later this week. The ad shows the player listening to Diddy’s music on the Beats Fit Pro.
“Yo check this out/ All I am is a man with ambition to be the best/ When I failed, it just gave me the vision to see the rest/ Wasn’t even ready when God gave me the test/ So I pray you find love in the pieces of me that’s left,”
Diddy has yet to release his fifth album, Off the Grid. The album was originally supposed to hit the internet in September 2021, but the project never came to fruition. You can check the new Beats by Dre ad down below.
