Jimmy Uso is currently one half of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Along with Jey Uso and Roman Reigns, they form The Bloodline, one of the most feared factions in pro wrestling. Jimmy has been keeping his nose clean since his DUI arrest back in July, but a new bodycam video of his arrest is sure to spark controversy.
The footage shows Jimmy Uso reacting to something a Pensacola Police officer said during his traffic stop. Uso was pulled over because he was allegedly speeding and had run a red light. The police smelled alcohol in the car and initiated a DUI investigation, according to TMZ Sports.
The officer wished Jimmy good luck on his field sobriety test. That set Jimmy Uso off. The WWE superstar lashed out at the officer.
“You’re an assh*le. You’re the one that’s worse. You had a remark. You made a remark you shouldn’t have did.”
The officer did apologize for the way he was speaking to Uso. Jimmy eventually cooperated. Uso then failed his field sobriety test and was arrested for driving under the influence.
Jimmy Uso pleaded no contest to the DUI charge. A deal was cut with prosecutors this month to settle the case. As part of the agreement, Jimmy had to complete several courses, which he did. Uso thought the DUI controversy was in the past, but this new video will likely bring this story straight back to the public discourse.
