Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers have called it quits for good. After the “Big Little Lies” star gave her NFL husband a second chance, things didn’t work out. The couple will now go their separate ways. That doesn’t mean Shailene isn’t hurting.
Woodley tried to make things work with Rodgers. The two got together in 2020 and became engaged in early 2021. In February, it was reported that the couple was splitting due to political differences.
Shailene Woodley wanted to give Aaron another shot. When it didn’t work out, she decided to move on. Shailene took to Instagram to express her thoughts on grief.
“Grief expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.”
The quote came from writer Marti Prechtel. Shailene is relating to it a lot right now. She knows she will miss her relationship with Aaron Rodgers, but sometimes it is better to walk away.
No breakup ever feels good. Shailene Woodley is exploring those feelings and trying to cope. For now, she is dealing with the grief of a lost relationship in her way.
