Joe Biden Jokes That Donald Trump Administration Was ‘A Horrible Plague’ At White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Joe Biden campaigned as a unifying factor aiming to rescue America’s soul in his successful 2020 White House run. In his first State of the Union address, the 46th President of the United States emphasized the importance of unity. It seems Joe Biden recently trolled Donald Trump and joked about the phrase “Let’s go Brandon,” during his speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

On Saturday night, President Joe Biden spoke at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. During his speech, he mocked former President Donald Trump. He even trolled the celebrities in the audience.

This is the first time a president has attended this dinner in six years. It’s understandable. We had a horrible plague, followed by two years of COVID. I’m really excited to be here tonight with the only group of Americans with a lower approval rating than I have.

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian, who attended the event together, were among those in the audience. Davidson wore a clean black suit and tie to the red carpet, while Kardashian wore a sparkling silver gown. Biden then handed the microphone over to Daily Show host Trevor Noah who joked, “I was a little confused about why me. But then I was told you get your highest approval ratings with a biracial African guy standing next to you.”

Noah joked about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Kirsten Sinema, and continued his poking fun session throughout his time on the microphone. Noah joked about Biden’s wife Jill.
