Pusha T Earns His First Billboard No. 1 Album With ‘It’s Almost Dry’

Pusha T has come a long way since he signed with Kanye West’s label, GOOD Music. He already has earned himself a top position in the rap scene but his career recently reached a whole new milestone.

Pusha T’s latest release, It’s Almost Dry just hit no. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. It is set to debut on the chart by May 7th. Pusha has made it to the top ten in the said chart before but this milestone marks as a first for him.

Billboard reports It’s Almost Dry, Pusha T’s fourth studio album and his third top 10 on the Billboard 200, following Daytona (No. 3 in 2018) and My Name Is My Name (No. 4 in 2013), is #1.

Pusha T’s latest album earned 55,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the first week. With streams comprising 83% of the hip-hop album’s first-week unit total.

The 44-year-old rapper has a new achievement to celebrate now, all those years of consistent hard work seemed to have finally paid him off. Now that he has this accolade, he has to look forward to dominating other charts as well.
