Britney Spears & Sam Asghari’s Wedding Delayed By Prenup Negotiations

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are expecting their first child together. Britney was excited to once again experience motherhood after her torturous conservatorship was finally dissolved. Spears is also ready to get married, but not before the couple hashes out some major financial issues.

In the print edition of Us Weekly, an insider close to the couple talked about their plans. Sam Asghari is looking to see an increase in potential alimony payments for every five years the pair are married. The discussions are causing the road to marriage to be dragged out.

“The talks have been taking longer than usual. Sam wants substantial increases for every five years they are married, should it end.”

Sam is worried that he may end up penniless if things don’t work out with Britney Spears. Meanwhile, the source said Britney is staying out of the financial aspect and is solely focused on wedding planning. The negotiations have been described as “respectable.”

Spears is allowing her lawyers to take care of the prenuptial agreement. Both parties are hoping to come up with something that they are happy with. Thus far, everything has remained friendly and business-like.

Britney Spears is looking forward to walking down the aisle in her Versace gown. Until the legal aspects are agreed upon, that will have to wait. For now, the couple is taking their time to make sure they cut a good deal that will be fair to both sides.
