Shia LaBeouf was accused of domestic abuse and sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs. She filed her lawsuit against LaBeouf in December 2020. Now a trial date has been set.

When he was faced with the accusation, Shia issued an apology. However, FKA Twigs was simply not buying Shia LaBeouf’s apology one bit. Things got messier from there.

The two had dated for 9 months as well between 2018 and 2019. According to a report by Rolling Stone, the two will present their cases to a jury in just about a year on April 17, 2023.

Pitchfork reportedly requested a statement from both FKA Twigs and Shia LaBeouf, but neither ended up answering either.

We will have to wait and see whether Shia LaBeouf will answer for the charges meted out against him. Odds are, it will become a very messy trial in the end.
