Roman Reigns has been on a whole different level following his return to WWE during WWE SummerSlam 2020. He has become a dominant champion since then and rules over Friday Night Smackdown with an iron first. Even Charles Barkley acknowledged The Tribal Chief recently.
On the other hand, Chris Jericho’s experience as a 30-year veteran in the pro wrestling business has significantly helped every pro wrestling company he has been a part of. Jericho is considered the GOAT by many and it is not hard to see why.
During Tuesday’s Inside The NBA, Twitter user @perfecthennig sent in a tweet that made it on-screen. Charles Barkley noticed the username and avatar and then mentioned Mr. Perfect Curt Henning. Barkley then compared Henning to the likes of Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns.
“I remember him, he’s a hell of a wrestler. He ain’t no Ric Flair or Rock or Chris Jericho or Roman Reigns.”
Roman Reigns is currently feuding with Drew McIntyre while Chris Jericho is feuding with Eddie Kingston and Santana & Ortiz on AEW television. We’ll have to see how their respective storylines develop. It’s good to know that Sir Charles is a fan of the Tribal Chief.
