Snoop Dogg Considered Shaving His Head & Rocking A Wig

Snoop Dogg’s iconic dreadlocks are recognizable anywhere in the world. Snoop is known for always changing up his style over the different eras of his lengthy career. The Death Row Records owner recently considered another dramatic change.

Joyner Lucas roasted Snoop Dogg’s dreadlocks on Instagram recently. Lucas asked Snoop when he planned to cut his hair. Joyner said that Snoop’s receding hairline might eventually leave him looking like Stevie Wonder.

Snoop responded by saying he was considering a major change. He spoke about his hair situation with his wife. The Doggfather said he was considering going bald and wearing wigs.

“I was saying this to my wife the other day, I might have to go bald head in a minute, and wear wigs and sh*t. F*ck it. Now everybody else wearing motherf*cking wigs. Get a whole motherf*cking closet full of wigs. Let’s go perm today. We going dreadlocks, we going french braids, we want afros, we want flattops.”

The clip came from a meet up last November when Snoop and Joyner Lucas exchanged some bling. Lucas gave Snoop a pendant featuring his parents. The gift was appreciated, having come shortly after the death of Snoop’s mother.

Snoop Dogg has always been able to build iconic looks. Throughout the years as he has aged and matured, things have changed, but he’s always instantly recognizable. The older he gets, though, the more Snoop realizes he might eventually have to take a different direction with his hair.
