Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are presently locked in a vicious legal battle in Virginia. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s ugly stories keep surfacing one after another. It seems Heard supporters are flooding Twitter as she testifies at the trial.

Just recently, social media users showed their support for actress Amber Heard as she testified in a defamation trial. Heard took the podium to express her point of view, and many people began using the hashtag #IstandWithAmber to show their support for the “Aquaman” star. Heard quickly became a Twitter trend.

Johnny Depp, her ex-husband and fellow actor, sued her for $50 million, claiming she defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post essay. The trial has now entered its fourth week. One fan showed her support for Heard by posting a video of her on the stand with the message, “You’ve heard his point of view. Now, pay attention to what she says.”

One fan wrote: “I’m already reduced to tears while she’s up there defending herself, reliving the most traumatic times of her past life from 6-10 years ago while the world watches on. She’s the voice for the voiceless survivors everywhere. Truly inspirational.”

Another chimed in saying: “Proud. He hasn’t looked at her once.”

A third person wrote: “So in things that surprise no one: Depp’s team opposing to all the evidence that he was abusing Amber since early on their relationship Including what seems to be a pic we haven’t seen before, 2012?”

A fourth one commented: “the way society continues to treat survivors and women who speak out about those in power needs to change. Watching the public’s reaction to this trial has been truly disturbing.”

Twitter user @MCJPeel posted that “It is sick that a woman has to repeatedly open about her assault, her abuse, her threats of rape and harm to back it up with ample evidence only for the world to tell her she’s doing it for fun & money. Does she look happy to you?”

Depp claimed in his lawsuit that Heard’s essay detailing her experience with domestic violence harmed his career and made it difficult for him to find work. Heard is suing the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star for $100 million in retaliation. Newsweek reached out to Heard and Depp’s representatives for comment.
