Drake is at the peak of his music career right now and despite being busy he takes off to enjoy his weekends. This time he made an appearance at the 2022 Kentucky Derby alongside Jack Harlow.
The pair was at the venue to film a music video for Harlow’s new “Churchill Downs” track feat. Drake. The track appears on the Grammy nominee’s latest album, Come Home the Kids Miss You.
During the live NBC broadcast on Saturday, the pair dropped an interview and Drake was tipsy. He seemed to be enjoying himself a lot at the Derby. “I had to show up. I’m so proud of this guy,” Drake said.
“And we’re drunk,” Drake added, before correcting himself: “He’s sober. I’m drunk.” The two were then asked if they had a horse in the annual horse race, to which Drake grinned and replied, “We got a lot going on.”
Harlow: “We were forced to make a move, on the one and only Happy Jack.”
Drake: “Yeah, obviously,”
Harlow: “He’s really giving a good description of how I feel right now. If there was a Happy Aubrey, we’d run that too.”
Aside from Drake and other famous celebrities, WWE Superstar Bianca Belair also made her appearance at the event. It seems that that WWE Superstars were able to keep their partying at the Kentucky Derby in check. You can check the amusing clip featuring Harlow and Drake below.
