2016’s Doctor Strange made many fans familiar with Benedict Cumberbatch’s character of the same name. Strange has been featured in several films since then, including Avengers Infinity War and Endgame, where he played a significant role. He also had a huge role to play in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Of course, Doctor Strange’s latest cinematic epic wasn’t cheap to produce.
Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness will be with the ramifications of everything that took place in No Way Home. The film will also include non-MCU characters on top of that.
The film was finally released this week and reviews have been somewhat mixed. However, almost everyone praised the amazing visuals and cinematography of the film.
Jamie Lee Curtis took to Instagram and uploaded a post, where she took a huge shot at Doctor Strange 2’s budget, comparing it to her own film Everything Everywhere All at Once. That project, which is an indie film, has seen a lot of box office success on a modest budget of $25 million.
This is 8 times less than the $200 million production budget for Doctor Strange. Curtis highlighted the difference in the budgets between the films in her post.
TRUTH ALERT🚨@everythingeverywheremovie is MARVELOUS! It has a deep BEATING heart and BRILLIANT visual treats, EXTRAORDINARY performances and FANTASTIC BEASTLY FIGHT SCENES…… AND it COST LESS than the ENTIRE craft service budget on Doctor Strange and/or any other Marvel movie. COMPETITIVE? F*ck YES. I wasn’t head cheerleader in high school for nothing. And P.S. our movie has a dynamite dildo fight scene as well as a very erotic hotdog hand mating dance and rocks.🌭👀🪨 ♠️

We will have to wait and see just how successful Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse Of Madness will end up becoming. We’re betting that nothing Marvel ever produces will have a “dildo fight scene,” so that’s one thing JLC has up on the MCU. Judging by Marvel’s track record, Doctor Strange is sure to be a success.
