Pusha T will not be visiting Canada anytime soon, which will disappoint Canadians. A fight broke out at Pusha T’s Toronto concert in 2018, and after he performed a Drake diss track, things quickly went he left. Pusha has been repeatedly asked about his previous beef with Drake in recent weeks, and he has attacked each question despite its repetition.
The It’s Almost Dry rapper has continued to promote, and this time he stopped by Drink Champs for an in-depth interview about his career. Pusha T addressed putting his Drake beef to rest on the podcast and revealed that he is not permitted to visit the country. Noreaga joked that his spat with the Toronto icon “went too far.”
I’m banned from Canada. I don’t care. There is no ‘too far’! I don’t play like that—that’s why you don’t play with me… Leave me alone! Leave me be because there is no too far!
On a more serious note, Pusha did not elaborate on why he was no longer welcome because his manager refused to let him, but it has been speculated that it all stems from a brawl in 2018. Pusha was performing in Toronto at the time when audience members rushed the stage and appeared to fight.
Pusha walked away unharmed, but things changed when he performed a Drake diss track, and beer began to fly. Drake was later accused of orchestrating the incident by Pusha. You can watch some of the footage from the altercation below, as well as listen to Pusha T’s latest Drink Champs episode.
