Tammy Lynn Sytch, better known by her ring name Sunny, rose to prominence in the World Wrestling Federation during the 1990s and is often regarded as the first WWF Diva. The former Superstar was arrested on Friday night in Florida in relation to the March 25th traffic fatality in Ormond Beach, Florida.
According to PW Insider, Sytch, as of Friday night, was being processed into Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is facing charges relating to DUI, causing the death of a person aka DUI Manslaughter, Driving with a suspended or revoked license, causing death or serious injury and multiple counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property.
The DUI Manslaughter charge is the most serious, as it is considered a felony on Florida. If convicted, Sytch could face up to 30 years in prison, with a four year minimum sentence as well as up to $10,000 in fines. Meanwhile, Sytch’s bond for that charge alone is listed at $200,000.
As previously reported, Sytch was involved in a fatal three-car crash. The driver of the vehicle hit by Sytch, identified as Julian Lafrancis Lasseter Jr. of Daytona Beach Shores, was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead after reportedly suffering a heart attack related to the crash.
