Santos Saúl Álvarez Barragán, popularly known as Canelo Álvarez, is a Mexican professional boxer who has won multiple world championships in four weight classes from light middleweight to light heavyweight. It includes unified titles in three of those weight classes and lineal titles in two. Canelo Alvarez didn’t let a tough ring battle stop him from singing his heart out at the club recently.
The boxing superstar hit up a Vegas club for some amazing karaoke after losing to Dmitry Bivol. Alvarez was upbeat just hours after his fight with the undefeated Russian boxer at Resorts World’s Zouk nightclub. He sang along to Mexican hits like “Eso y Más” by Joan Sebastian.
Canelo serenaded his wife, Fernanda Gómez, at the same club after beating Caleb Plant back in November, wowing the crowd with his pipes. Of course, Canelo went up a weight class to face the most difficult challenge he could face. While it didn’t go his way, he gave it his all for 12 rounds.
Canelo and his entourage arrived around 2 AM and enjoyed bottle service for several hours. The boxer sang for all to hear for about 30 minutes. Alvarez is known for being humble in both victory and defeat, and the video below demonstrates that. Check out the pictures below as well.
