Yung Joc is one of the veteran rappers in the world of hip-hop. Joc is also never afraid of making fun of himself, as was evident by him getting a fake beard previously. He was also recently arrested for abandoning his child which is never a good reason to make a headline.
Yung Joc spent just one hour behind bars on May 5 after he was accused of abandoning his child. According to jail records obtained by The Shade Room, the rapper was taken into Gwinnett County Jail at 2:58 a.m. and charged with abandoning a dependent child.
The rapper was then freed from jail at around 3:40 a.m. after posting a $1,300 bond. While The Shade Room reached out to the Atlanta rapper, Yung Joc instead plugged his upcoming comedy tour.
“Yeah my new comedy tour is about to launch,” Joc replied. “The Help Me Feed My Kids Tour.” TSR asked if he was doing comedy now, to which Joc replied he’s “been doing comedy.”
According to The Source, it was suggested that Yung Joc’s arrest was potentially due to one of his kid’s mothers petitioning him for child support. However, this was not confirmed.
The 41-year-old has six children and he married Kendra Robinson in November last year. We certainly hope the rapper doesn’t end up getting himself in trouble again for abandonment.
