Ric Flair Training Hard In The Ring With Former World Champion

Ric Flair has been retired from professional wrestling for quite some time. After major controversy over his role in the infamous “Plane Ride From Hell” threatened to ruin him, Flair’s post-wrestling career was also in jeopardy. The Nature Boy has shrugged it all off and has even been training for an in-ring comeback.

Flair said that he would be willing to die in the ring for the right match. In April, he shared a video of himself training with former ROH World Champion and current AEW star Jay Lethal. Fans were surprised to see that Ric Flair was still getting in there and taking bumps.

This morning, Ric Flair shared the latest progress update on his training on his YouTube channel. Ric and Jay worked on several spots. Flair even broke out his infamous eye poke as the two went through a series of moves inside the ring.

Jay Lethal worked Ric Flair over before hitting him with a suplex. Lethal then mocked Flair. Ric mounted a comeback, pounding away on Jay in the corner before stomping his feet and kicking him in the knee.

Finally, Ric hit Jay with a hip toss before yet another cheap shot. Ric nailed Jay with a low blow before the clip finally wrapped up with a whip to the corner and a back elbow. It seems like Ric Flair is taking his training seriously.

Time will tell if Ric Flair will wrestle in front of a crowd again. For now, he is working hard with Jay Lethal and showing fans that he can still move around a little bit. It remains to be seen if the Nature Boy will be able to make a comeback.
