Seth Rogen Teams With ‘Borat’ Director For Mysterious New Peacock Series

Peacock has green-lit one of the most mysterious and ambitious projects in the history of streaming television. The NBC-owned service has joined forces with “Borat” director Jason Woliner and Seth Rogan for the jaw-dropping new project. The show was picked up without any further details being released.

The new series has been described as “mind-bending,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Those involved say that it will mix fact and fiction to tell a “bizarre and incredible tale.” The show is said to be filled with tons of unexpected twists and turns.

Seth Rogen will serve as the series’ executive producer. It will be released on behalf of Lionsgate by Caviar. NBCUniversal Television and Streaming president of scripted content Lisa Katz discussed the strange new addition to the Peacock lineup.

The unnamed new show has been in the making for ten years. Scott Herbst of Lionsgate described it as “unlike anything else you’ll see this year.” The show was described as “out of the box.”
