Kourtney Kardashian Cried ‘Hysterically’ After Breaking $1 Million Engagement Ring

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have made a lot of headlines due to their ever-growing love for each other. The couple is looking to take their relationship to the next level as they are planning for a secret wedding ceremony soon. However, it appears they will have to hold it off for some time.

Page Six reports that on Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian reveals that she stepped on and broke the engagement ring from fiancé Travis Barker. The diamond encrusted ring costed a whopping $1 million dollars.

In a scene from the new episode, Kris Jenner noticed that Kourtney was not wearing her gargantuan Lorraine Schwartz sparkler, and she asked why it’s MIA. Kourtney then replied, “It’s actually getting fixed.”

While describing the inciting incident as “probably one of the worst things I’ve ever done in my whole life,” she then explained, “I was sitting on my floor folding sweatshirts. I took the ring off and I put it next to me on the floor, like thinking it would be safe right next to me.” This was a very pricy accident.

“I had to get something up above in my closet, and when I stepped down, I stepped on the ring. I was hysterically crying in my closet for hours, and then I called Travis. I was like, ‘I did something really, really bad.’”

However, Travis came in like a knight and saved the day. Kourtney said that Travis “handled it the best.” The Poosh founder recalled, “It really gave me, like, a nervous breakdown,” She added. “I was just like, this is the most beautiful thing that I’ve ever had in my life, and how could I have done that?”

The rocker presented his lady love with the oval-cut rock on a pavé diamond band in October 2021, when he popped the question surrounded by roses and candles on the beach in Montecito, Calif. Earlier this week, Kourtney flaunted a new ring with Travis’ name on it. Stay tuned to Thirsty.
