T.I. saw the news about Young Thug and Gunna’s arrest along with over 2 dozen other YSL associates. Now T.I. has a very good question as he wonders why those same RICO charges don’t apply to the KKK, because they do a lot of illegal things for the betterment of their organization.
T.I. took to his Instagram account to share a post where he questions why the Ku Klux Klan hasn’t been hit with a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations charges yet, suggesting that RICO laws should be implemented against white supremacist groups like the KKK.
He wrote, “Why the KKK ain’t been hit wit a RICO… .” Several users agreed with the rapper in the comments but some even shared their disagreement on his post.
The post drew attention from notable names, radio personality Ebro Darden and director Deon Taylor. Darden wrote in the comments that KKK has connections in areas “where they control those handing them out.”
As we previously reported on Monday, May 9th, Young Thug and Gunna were arrested in a gang-related indictment that named 28 people. Young Thug was taken into custody and he was charged with murder, robbery, and assault. He also faced seven other felony charges after police raided his house.
Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel told WSB-TV earlier this week that he is willing to fight till his “last drop of blood” to prove that his client has committed no crime. Keep checking back with Thirsty because this is a story that could take years to play out.
