Ben Simmons Likes Tweet Blasting James Harden

Ben Simmons made no qualms about his distaste for the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons refused to play there for the entire season. Problems with the team’s medical staff combined with a general refusal to suit up ultimately led the team to trade him to the Brooklyn Nets.

Skip Bayless is a known professional troll. Bayless uses his various media platforms to constantly blast NBA players he doesn’t like. LeBron James is his favorite target, but he recently joined the party of people piling on James Harden after his team collapsed in the first round of the playoffs.

“James Harden typically no-showed in the second half of this closeout game. Now he’s mostly just another Jim Harden. Ben Simmons eventually will make this trade look so phoolish for Philly.”

Ben Simmons liked what he read. He went so far as to publicly endorse Skip’s tweet by clicking the like button. The contentious end to his time in Philly still seems to bother him.

James Harden didn’t score a single point in the second half of the decisive game four in the series against Boston. The Celtics completely humiliated the Nets in the four-game sweep. Harden was largely blamed for the team’s defeat.

Ben Simmons didn’t play at all after the trade due to an ailing back. Next year, Ben will do his best to make the Sixers look bad for not being willing to work with him. It will be a small miracle if James Harden is in the league at all.
