Kenan Thompson Spotted Without Wedding Ring After Split From Longtime Wife

Kenan Thompson is best recognized for his spectacular television career, and he has just been crowned the longest-running cast member on Saturday Night Live. Following his shocking divorce from his longtime wife, the SNL star was recently spotted going out in public without his wedding ring.

According to Page Six, last night, the Good Burger star was photographed sans his wedding ring during a lavish soirée at Hard Rock Hotel’s grand opening in Times Square. Despite his recent separation, Thompson appeared to be in a good mood while socializing with other celebrities at the event.

“He looked like he was having so much fun,” one bystander told Page Six. “He emceed the start of the show before John Legend performed and brought his drink on stage and kept saying how he was ‘just chillin.'” The former Nickelodeon star was reportedly caught assuring one of the attendees that he was doing “good.”

Thompson and Evangeline’s split sent shockwaves weeks ago in April, despite having been married for 11 years and together for more than 14. Georgia Marie and Gianna Michelle are the couple’s kids. The former flames dated for four years before marrying in front of friends and family members at Atlanta’s Georgia Aquarium in November 2011.

“Kenan and Christina are completely amicable,” an insider close to the couple told Us Weekly, alleging they had secretly called it quits long before it became public. “They remain close as coparents and have remained very close throughout the separation.” “They really just grew apart and wanted different things,” the source added. “There’s nothing juicy about why they split.”
