Machine Gun Kelly established himself as one of the top singers in the music industry right now. He is also in a relationship with Megan Fox and for many fans, the two are the epitome of couples goals. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are not only lovers, but also creative colleagues. Still, she is his muse even if he thinks she is breaking up with his tattooed self.
The soon-to-be married couple star in Good Mourning. The rapper-turned-rocker recently disclosed it was inspired by a time when he thought his fiancé dumped him through text. MGK discussed the stoner comedy he directed and performed in at its debut earlier this week with Extra.
I wrote the movie for her because she was unknowingly the cause of the spiral. She sent me a text just like in the movie. [My character] spirals over a text that he doesn’t really understand and he can’t get a hold of her, and that was what was happening to me. I was, like, spiraling so hard. I needed somewhere else to go with it. I was like, ‘I’m just gonna write a movie.’
The father of one recalled, adding that he typically writes music to express himself, but he needed something different this time. “This is what you were thinking the whole time?” Fox asked MGK when he delivered his script with the Transformers actress.
Dove Cameron, Becky G, Whitney Cummings, and Pete Davidson, who happens to be one of the director’s closest friends, also make appearances in Good Mourning. Fox and her man looked stunning on the red carpet, with the actress donning a richly embroidered Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini gown and Colson Baker donning a crisp double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. On May 20th, “Good Mourning” will be released in theatres and on demand.
